While at MedLink, Tim Kraft managed the design and construction of the 11,000 SF cardiac and vascular care diagnostic and treatment center. The project utilized a fast track design and construction method to meet its accelerated schedule. This project included the renovation and remodel of an abandoned ASC into two Cath labs, one Operating Room, patient and support areas. The facility was completed in four phases - the first included minor renovations and new finishes & furniture to the existing office area. Phase II constituted one Cath lab, one operating room, pre & post op areas, and patient waiting. The second Cath lab, exam rooms, doctor offices and staff support areas comprised the third phase. The fourth and final phase consisted of the MRI and CT imaging suite and new addition to the building. The final phase included the construction of a new addition to house the MRI for the Imaging Center. The project was certified as an ASC through the Texas Department of State Health Services in February 2014. Construction was stopped in September 2014.
